Kristin Blanchfield joined Imperial as the Vice President of Advancement in January 2025. Before Imperial, she spent over a decade at Johns Hopkins University, most recently as Senior Associate Vice President for Philanthropic Partnerships and held positions at Yale and Cornell universities.
Her experience includes building high performing teams and working with institutional leadership, boards, academic staff, volunteer leaders, alumni and donors to advance strategic priorities. Kristin joined the We Innovate National Advisory Board in 2025. We Innovate is a programme started at Imperial to empower and increase the number of women-led startups.
